I can't believe how fast time goes by. My precious baby is 8 weeks old. She goes for her 2 month well baby checkup next Friday. As the Major on the phone put it...we'll see you next week; not at the torture session, but at the preventative medicine session. It made me laugh. I am NOT, let me repeat..I am NOT looking forward to the technician sticking my beloved daughter with needles. But, I know she needs it.
There are so many things that are different about her. She is laughing and smiling. We play the "spit the binkie out" game and that makes her laugh. It's not really a laugh but more of a sweet coo. She is always grinning. She likes bright objects and she loves kicking her toys on her baby e-mat. (She can kick them if she is sitting in her bouncy seat- see above.) She is so deliciously sweet that I just want to gobble her up. She is my joy. I love her to pieces. I love watching her grow and learn. I think we will watch our first baby e video tomorrow. That's all for now.....
She is getting so big so fast and she is so beautiful...I LOVE her!

ReplyDeleteHow's baby doin' since her shots? No problems with fever, I hope! And, that Strawberry picture is one of the cutest baby pictures I've ever seen--and I have certainly seen a lot!! I just wanted to say, I really like reading your thoughts on your new baby and "mommieness"--it's very refreshing to get that "new mommy perspective" once in awhile and think back on all the first-time-mom excitement! Isn't it an awesome world we live in when a long-time mom can get inspiration from one who's only been at it for 8 weeks? Anyway! Great post! ( :
