Latina is a photographer. She loves capturing everyones moments. She is funny and quite personable. I made the mistake of judging her work before I really knew what it entailed. And today, again, I saw exactly what it entailed. I have attached some photos to this blog so you at least get the idea (I am obviously no photographer as you can see the shiny spots-LOL). You get the picture? (no pun intended)
Today she brought over the rest of my order which was a coffee table book. The book is bound with perfection and care and even came in a personalized box. It's pretty and pink and I LOVE it. I didn't even tell her anything about the way I wanted the book. I told her to just surprise me- and she did just that. She just put it together and it came out fabulous.
I have learned some things that I want to share. I will be the first to admit when I am wrong and when I am too quick to judge. My brain thinks too fast sometimes. Well, I was wrong-dead wrong-about photography. I have learned that it is not point-click-shoot-deliver to customer. Today I downloaded a trial version of Adobe Photoshop and it took me about an hour and a half to done stinking photo. It might not take the professionals that long, but it is very time consuming. I just wish I would have realized this sooner. I guess my point is in regard to photography if you are unsure of the product or don't think it is exactly perfect then just speak up. Tell your photographer what's up (right away) and see what you can do together to remedy the situation.
Friendships are just as important as photographs.....
