Kaci is officially sleeping through the night. She is 2 months old! Wooo Hooo!!!! Now THAT is exciting news.
Today is Courtney's 9th Birthday! I baked cupcakes last night for her to take to school today. She had french toast for breakfast and I am making her favorite dinner- Chicken Cheddar Melt! I am picking up Subway to have lunch with her at school today. We will open presents later on tonight. So far she said she is having a great day!
Where'd you get the idea for Subway and lunch with Courtney at school? hmmm? ;o)
ReplyDeleteDang, girl! You know, I am up for adoption again this year and I love Subway and cupcakes!! Just teasin,' of course, but aren't you great! Good for you! Even doing ONE of those things would make you an excellent mommy! I bet Courtney was absolutely GLOWING by the end of the day!
ReplyDeleteMe, I thought I was a darn good mommy, and I buy treats for the class already made, make it a rule to never cook breakfast if there are cereal bars in the house, do the lunch thing once in a blue moon, and then try to throw an elaborate party that never goes according to plan and turns out to provide laughter for years to come!
So, there you go bein' an inspiration again! She is a very lucky little girl--and I'm sure she deserves it!! So, tell her 'Crazy Angie from Omaha' said Happy Birthday!
