Sheer Excitement!!!

OH MY GOODNESS! We are moving in April into a FANTABULOUS to house. I signed the paperwork and got a copy of the floor plan today! The new house is literally like 700 sq ft bigger than the house we live in now. AWESOME! And...we wil have a garage. YIPPEEEEEEE! We even have 2 family rooms - YES 2 family rooms! I will finally have a place for guests to sleep and for Kaci to play! I am so stoked about moving that I can hardly stand myself. YAY for a new house! (And lucky for us our new neighbors are only moving one street up!)

School is coming to an end. DOUBLE YAY! In just 15 days I will have earned my Master's Degree. I couldn't be happier. I will be headed to Phoenix in June to walk in my commencement ceremony! WOOT WOOT! It has been a long and tough road with school, but it is all going to pay off. I couldn't have done it without the support of my family and friends so...a BIG THANK YOU to ALL of you! Especially my husband and my mom!

P90X is my friend. We get along just fine. Plyo damn near killed me on Wednesday but I mixed it up with a little Kenpo. Yesterday I did Back and Bicepts. It was awesome and boy did I feel it this morning. Whew! I think today I will take Kaci for a walk since it is so nice out. She really loves her new wagon! Then maybe I shall come home and do some cardio!

Just two more months of school for the kids and they are out for the summer. Courtney is especially excited. She loves summer. They don't go back until August 2nd this next school year so they have quite a long summer in comparison to previous years.

I am about to throw another baby shower for my dear friend. TWINS! YAY! Monday we get to find out the gender of the jelly beans! I am too excited. The theme of the shower is going to be Sweet Treats! it's gonna be fun and sooooooooooooo cute!

Then...a wedding in October! WOW! A lot is happening in 2010. I look forward to a very eventful rest of the year!

Week 1 of Total Feel-Good Whole Body Torture!

Well, here is an update. P90x has totally kicked my butt. However, I have to tell you that so far I am happy with the results. I have lost 3 and 5/10th's of a pound in 7 days. It's pretty amazing. My whole body hurts. I love the X Stretch, Cardio X, Yoga X, and Kenpo X. They are my favorites. I will be honest and tell you that I am not quite to the AB Ripper X phase yet. Maybe in a few weeks. My goal is to be able to complete the ab ripper x portion for the full last four weeks of the program. For me that is an excellent goal. I would say that with all the workouts I am at about 90%. Hello- it's only been a week people. LOL Just Kidding. Seriously though, I am trying really hard and I know in the end I am going to be BADD ASS!

Wish me Luck!

Sacrafice

Life is full of sacrafices. Sometimes we have to sacrafice something we want for a truly better result in the end. Sometimes even though we think we want it - we don't. And sometimes it is simple...our family comes first.

Right now I am sacraficing my body to P90x! LOL I am on day 5 and it's killin me. I have also added in some Tae Bo cardio and a 3 mile walk on this beautiful Hawaiian day. I have been making better choices with food (and not just for me but for everyone). We didn't eat bad to begin with, but now it's even better. For example, a spinach tortilla, egg whites (add a dash of pepper), black beans, diced tomatoes, and a little bit of low-fat parm or mozz cheese. YUMMO! Anyway, I am loving the P90x even though it's hard. Im sticking to it and I am proud of that.

Courtney is excited for Spring Break. She wants to go to the library and get a library card, play tennis, go bowling, play soccer in the back yard, and other stuff that I can't remember right now. Kyle is really into drawing. He is using chacoal pencils and he is VERY good. He has done some other really good art in the past. I'm glad he likes it! He did say that next year he wants to get into soccer.

Kaci is getting yet another tooth! Holy moly. And speak of the devilshe is waking up from her nap. I'll be back. Ok- she is having her snack. She is getting so big. I can't believe she is 15 months old! Time sure does fly.

Jelly and Bean are growing as they should and I am definitely looking forward to throwing that shower! Should be fun!

I also am halping plan a wedding! I know! The venue is beautiful. I am really excited to see it when it's all said and done! Yay for the Croy's!

I think that is all for now folks! It's time to Rock n Roll!

Until next time...

Medicated Dreams

I started getting sick the week before I went to Seattle. I thought for sure it was just sinus related. I have been taking meds the last week to try and rid of the nastyness.

Weird weird dream I had last night. Let me first start off by saying that right now I am on four different medications to try and knock out whatever illness I have. With that said, I had the stragest dream last night. I dreamt that I was on a huge yacht. The only other person I knew was my friend Carrie. It was me, Carrie, 2 other girls, 2 guys, and Kaci. Once we were on the boat it was like some weird scam. The guy told us that it was time to pay so we gave him $3000.00. before I knew the yacht was in Denver and we were watching people jet ski. I think the Olympics were there in Denver. Kaci was asleep in the front of the yacht on the bed. I remember asking the guy that was taking the money when we were going home. I think we had actually been kidnapped. I felt like I was on the show LOST. Anyway, he said to me, "You are the one that signed up for this, I don't know that you're ever going home." And then I woke up.

That was by far the strangest dream I had ever had. I am pretty sure it was the medicine taking over my brain.

On a happier note Kaci is officially walking. She had taken her first steps on December 7th but then i guess decided that it was easier to get around on her boom boom. But...for the last week or so she has really been going. She walks all over the place. Oh my goodness. I bought her some really cute Leap Frog Farm fridge toys and the alaphabet letters. She likes to take them off the fridge and stick them on the dishwasher. HA! She is getting so big. Ooooo I just love her.

Seattle - Seattle was great. It was so great to see Sherry and Chloe! I went to a lot of really good presentations, including two coworkers presentations that were awesome. I am sorry I missed the ole AFDIL talk, but Kaci was sick. I can tell you that the trip home was no picnic. Between her throwing up on me on the airplane and spending 8 hours in the ER in Torrance...UGH. But she feels better now and we are home. YAY!

Today, well probably tomorrow, I am starting P90X. Rick and I both have coworkers who are using it and have had amazing results. I am going to stick it out and see where I am in 90 days! Wish me luck. Today I started the day with one serving of Cream of Wheat (no sugar added), vitamins, and a glass of OJ. I hope I can do this. I heard it was wicked hard! I am most excited for the Yoga! I'll keep you posted.

I had a whole list of things that I was going to blog about and of course now I can't remember them. Hmm. Oh- I am going to try the Scotch Brite Natural Fiber sponge. It goes right in the top rack of the dishwsher for Sanitation. Oh! I found some kick but dishwasher detergent. Finish - it's in the blue box. I love it!!!!! The Bounce dryer bar...it's okay. I don't love it. I am on the second bar. I think I will stick with the liquid fabric softener. That's all I can remember for now. The meds are taking over my brain.

Until Next Time...
