OMG. Seriously. Ok. Here is the story. I am almost six months pregnant. For the last few days I haven't been feeling well. In the last 24 hours or so I hadn't felt our son move and I was starting to get worried. So, I called the doctor's office Goodman & Partridge better known as momdoc and spoke to the nurse. She was very pleasant. I described to her my symptoms and she said better to be safe than sorry so to head over to L&D at Mount Vista Medical Center. She told me that since I had not been feeling well that was likely the answer as to why Baby Chase hadn't moved.
We arrived at the hospital, checked in, and waited for the nurse. The nurse came in hooked me up to the monitor and we waited. Turns out the baby's heartbeat was perfectly fine. A little fast, but otherwise fine. The charge nurse came in and said that she would check with the on call doctor to see if he wanted to order an ultrasound. And it begins.....
Dr. Lee Yosowitz. He was the on-call doctor. He came into our room and did not say one blasted word about how our son was. He proceeded to ask me very snark-like, "So, I see that you want a VBAC." I proceeded to say yes and explain the reasons that I did not want another c-section if I didn't have to have one. He then proceeded to belligerently tell us that the doctors affiliated with Mountain Vista do not do VBACs. He told us a story (scaring the CRAP out of us) that he once walked in on a VBAC that had gone very wrong and the baby had died. [Seriously, who says that to a pregnant patient or any other patient for that matter?] He then divulged the details which we cared NOTHING about. I was so fuming mad and speechless that I couldn't even speak.
Then the conversation took a turn for the worst. He said, "So, am I on the fence about abortion? Do I believe it's right or wrong?" [WHAT THE HELL? WHO IS THIS GUY AND IS HE FREAKING SERIOUS???] He then says, "In reality, if my daughter is raped and gets pregnant am I still on the fence about abortion?" - WHAT- Oh I seriously could take it anymore. The conversation became more and more aggravating the more he opened his BIG TRAP.
I look at my husband and he looks at me and I just want to burst into tears. First, what the hell does abortion have to do with the reason that I am there in the first place. Secondly, what in the hell does that have to do with giving birth or the current health of my son?!?!?!? BEH!
I asked him if I could go home and he said, "Well, I guess you didn't like what I had to say."
The running commentary in my head is non that I can post here but I had a lot of not nice thoughts!!!! BAH! I have already contacted one Dr.'s Goodman and Partridge Office and I will contact another one tomorrow. Namely mine.

My Life|Welcome to it
Hello strangers! It's been so long. I have been telling myself all weekend that I am going to get back to blogging. Only problem is that I think of all these items of interest to blog about and then by the time I sit down to blog I have forgotten... :-/ So for now I will sit here with my Grande Vanilla Latte and write....
Latest news - Divorce was final April 3rd!!!!! Ok- next topic(s)...
I am very excited about the up and coming. Yes, Vegas is just 10 days away. In 10 days we will be celebrating Dad's BIG 50 and in 12 days I will be Mrs. Pickering. YAHOO!!!! I am so excited to see my family and meet my new family members! I am telling you what...this guy is absolutely amazing. In. Every. Way. I'll tell you a secret...his family is pretty amazing too! I simply cannot wait to blog about this wedding and show you all the fabulous pictures.
And we are expecting baby! Dan and I are so excited! This is baby's first picture. On May 25th we will find out if we should name him/her Chase Daniel or Avery Kay! What's your guess? I am going with boy. I guess I have a 50/50 chance at being right. LOL. Oh and Kaci insists that she is getting a baby "brodur."
Speaking of Kaci I cannot believe how big my baby girl is getting. Waaahhhhhh! She is such a funny kid.
She is talking up a storm. She loves school. All of the worries I had are starting to fade away. I was really worried about her vocabulary for a long time, but now not so much. I wish I had a video I could post here. You would just crack up and smile if you saw her. I'll work on that.
I am still searching for the perfect face wash. Every time I run out I buy something new. Well, I think I have finally found my product. Not bad either for $8.97 and Target. Olay Total Effects. This is a citrus scrub that smells absolutely fantastic!! My face feels amazing! I have tried everything: MAC, Mary Kay, Aveno, Biore, Clean and Clear, Proactive (you know the infomercial so I had to try it), Clinique, Neutrogena....and nothing... I also purchased the moisturizer that goes with it and again I was very pleased...you should give it a try!
Let's see. What else has been happening. Of course, nothing I can think of at the minute. By the time I save this and publish it I will have thought of something else. Until then...enjoy your day!

Hello World....
Oh my gosh where do I even begin? I haven't blogged in months. A lot has happened over the last 4 months. So, I guess I start with "The Divorce". Yes, for those of you that are close to me you know that my divorce is almost FINAL. I'm pretty certain that the details aren't going to be posted here, but you know how to get a hold of me if you have questions. Moving on...
I have been to a couple of places over the last few months. One - Virginia. I actually went to Virginia for a Leadership Seminar, but boy did that seminar change my life. Whoa! I realized that I (we, meaning all of you) don't have to be complacent. I don't have to be just "ok" with my life. I woke up mid week and realized that I wanted so much more for my life. I felt like something was missing. It really was an eye opening experience. I owe it to the people I met as well as my mentors from the conference...Big time..So here is a shout out to all of you! Ninjas For Life!
I came home from Virginia refreshed. I actually felt like me again. From there I decided a trip to Vegas was in order. Nope- haven't gone to Vegas yet, but I'll get back to that. I went to my cousin's grad party (had a blast), sent a text, Vegas trip was planned for March.
Then it was Christmas. (I know this seems like a jumbled mess, but this is the short version of how everything happened.) Christmas = disaster. Well, minus one very crucial element, but I am not going to talk about that at this time. You know who you are if you are reading this.
Then there was Dallas. Oh Dallas. First a flight to Dallas, then a drive to Dallas. A VERY LONG 17 hour drive to Dallas. Luckily I had two very awesome people to keep alive during the drive. There was a tremendous amount of singing and dancing in the car. The drive home was a bit different. Pretty sure I love getting pulled over THREE times (2 within a ten mile radius) on the way home from Dallas. Good work DP! All in all, both trips to Dallas were amazing.

The super HOT guy in the above picture is my fiance. Yes. I said it. Fiance. It's happening. Don't be alarmed. Sit down. Breathe. It's really going to be okay. Promise. He is super awesome. You will love him. All I can say is that everything is my life now is FABULOUS. Simply fabulous. Not only is he awesome, but his family is awesome too. The wedding - April 28th in Vegas! It's gonna be EPIC. More to come on this later.
So now that I have shocked all of you with all my randomness just sit back, relax, and let it settle in. Enjoy the ride....
Until Next Time...
